Field Museum
Oh my goodness what a journey!
It took me 5 or 6 visits over several months spending a total of over 40 hours and $500, but I have finally completed exploring - in detail- every exhibit at the Chicago Field Museum. I wept, I laughed and my heart swelled with each new experience. Thank You field museum researchers!
In other news, Holly is not getting better. She will be departing later this month. I am hosting a small going away party with those who have known and loved her over the years. If you want to visit let me know, or swing by on the 19th.
This is just the domain where i intend to share my deepest thoughts with the universe. come along if you want to. I will try to update regularly with what is going on with me, share recent pics and keep everyone who cares to check up to date with my adventures.
Why here? why not the book of faces or some other large social media. A few reasons.
Firstly I dont really like the idea of some faceless corporation monetizing my data. I am an anticapitalist after all.
I would like more control over what and how I share my information, and my adventures! I love to travel all over the world and without conventional social media this seems to be the best way to keep a sharable record of my travels
And I generally assume I am bugging everyone. This way if you take the time to come here and check in I do not feel like I am sharing with someone who doesn't really care to bother with me.
That being said if you would like to get updates when I post something new just let me know. I promise not to spam you lol.
